Wooden Nesting Dolls

This is a set of wooden nesting dolls, also known as Russian dolls or Matryoshka dolls. The first ever set of Russian nesting dolls was carved by a craft artist in 1890. Nesting dolls can help children understand shapes/spaces and develop fine motor skills. 

The wooden dolls, designed to look like ocean animals, each decrease in size and fit inside one another. There are five dolls in this set including a walrus, an otter, a penguin and a little puffin. Makes a great nautical gift, fun for animal lovers and fans of arts and crafts. The tallest of these nested dolls measures 7″. Recommended for ages 14+.
